Gonna have to sleep now as opposed to working on CD art because they're gonna wake me up at 2 and then 6 for IVs. Great.

johnsettino.com

johnsettino.com was created out of necessity of a personal blog. I felt the need to create my own, rather than relying on a site such as LiveJournal, Xanga, MySpace, or others. This site was coded during the course of 2 weeks in January of 2006. The header image you see at the top was a manipulation of photographs I took of a Metro station in Washington, DC in July '05, created in Photoshop 7. The page layout was put together in Dreamweaver 8. The PHP backend was coded by hand, utilizing a MySQL database to store the entries, comments and other various things.

2009 Update

Completely new template from scratch. The photo is from a family trip to Carmel, NY in summer 2008, taken with my Canon PowerShot S3 IS (non-DSLR). No photo editing of any kind was done, save resizing it for the layout. All graphic work (resizing, icons, etc) was done in Adobe Photoshop CS2. 80x15 Buttons were made using the Brilliant Button Maker. Feed/Social Networking icons are from the Free Web 2.0 iconset by FastIcon.com.

Note about Fonts

The new template was designed to use the Rockwell font. Click the name to obtain it.
